An invisible signature, a traceable identity

TECHNOLOGY EMBEDDED FOR TRACEABILITY AND AUTHENTICATION OF PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS

In a market increasingly focused on product origin, process transparency and value protection, Elision is introducing an innovative solution for advanced traceability: invisible marking based on nanoparticles, a kind of inorganic DNA for products and raw materials. A technology fully integrated into the material, creating an indissoluble link between the physical object and its digital identity

Indoor, permanent and secure traceability

Unlike traditional technologies such as QR code, RFID or NFC, this solution is based on the integration of nanoparticles, whose chemical composition is extremely precisely controlled and associated with a unique code.
This invisible “signature” is incorporated into the product directly during the production process, either within the material (e.g., extrusion, injection molding) or within a surface treatment (e.g., paint, coating), without altering its appearance, mechanical properties and functionality.

Depending on the objective or problem to be solved, each client will be able to decide the level of detail of information to be associated with each code (i.e., each chemical composition): brand, production plant, distribution channel, production batch, serial number, or certifications. Authentication is done in seconds through a handheld scanner (XRF), accurately, non-invasively (i.e., no need to extract a sample from the product) and on-site, without the need for a laboratory, complex procedures or special technical expertise.

Smart tracking, you can't see it but it's there

The marker is invisible to the human eye, resistant to processing-even under extreme conditions (heat treatment, mechanical abrasion or chemical interactions)-and virtually impossible to remove or counterfeit. This technology is ideal for ensuring authenticity even in the most critical contexts, offering a real advantage in terms of security, supply chain control and brand protection.

It is applicable to a wide variety of materials (polymers, metals, leather, textiles, inks, etc.) and sectors: from Fashion to Art, from industrial components to Automotive and Aerospace, from Medical to Defense. Every product, from raw material to finished good, can become a verifiable and traceable entity throughout its life cycle. Due to its extreme versatility, the technology can be adapted to different use cases:

Authentication and connected sustainability

In addition to combating counterfeiting and certifying the origin of materials, this technology enables the feeding of digital systems such as digital product passport or blockchain. It thus becomes a bridge between the physical and digital worlds, supporting strategies for sustainability, circular economy and regulatory traceability.

The solution is designed to integrate easily into existing processes, minimizing operational impact and adapting to different production needs. Each implementation is customizable, from the type of marker to the application mode to the configuration of the reading system.
